Went school in Cambridge area, have since moved up
north for 13 years or so to experience the "real thing"!
Much respect to the St Ives crowd. I remember Adrian Spicer and
Clive Keeler from Whittlesford who were into the scene at the time, have
rediscovered it in the north since then. Come on Burnley !! |

Hi there I am still Soul Surviving on the tapes made for me by Peanuts and Candy from about 10 yrs ago. This site is heartbreakingly good. Thank you for existing and pass on our love to P&C from Bruce and Angie from the Ivo. Please tell them to email if poss. Could'nt find where to email them. I'm of to weep over lost record collections and the hours spent on bus's and hitching everywhere. I threw away my last alnighter t-shirt recently...sorry i'm away to blub. |

Hi Fellow Night Owls.----Blimey where do I
start? Ah I know !
I'm Spud Taylor from Huntingdon, I was on
the scene from about 1972 ish then up to about 1981.
I have recently returned to the Nighters after a
sabbatical that lasted some twenty flippin three YEARS.
Back in them there good ole days, these are some
of the people I remember and used to spend a lot of time around, Well
I am sure that every body at some point meet Rony Edwards, god we
covered some miles together, and Then there was Barry Redman now he
will remember me driving that red Hillman Hunter of his Dads. Steve
(Trojan) Ritchie, Ade Porteous and younger brother John, Alison and
Vicki Palmer (not related) Bronwyn Wozencroft now this girl could
make me laugh she was always good medicine, and of course Bev Maguire.
As I am spending more time on the scene again I
keep recalling people from the past, but if anyone out there remembers
me and my full lenght patchwork leather coat, please get in touch, I
now live in Shropshire with a Beautiful Woman (Janet) Who is
also from the scene.
Cant think of much more to say except Take Care,
Be Lucky, and always Keep The Faith
